Results Permission To Host




Philadelphia Soccer Club cordially invites you to join us in our annual Eric Ross/Kristen Haney Labor Day Tournament. The games will begin Friday evening, August 29th (local teams only on Friday) and continue through Sunday, August 31st (rain date Monday September 1st). The tournament is open to all boys ages U8 thru U15 and girls ages U8 thru U19. Last year over 130 teams participated from several different states. Entry deadline July 31, 2008.

The Ross/Haney tournament is sanctioned by the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association. A copy of the permission to host is available below. Club and recreational teams may enter with a maximum roster of 14 players U8 thru U10 and 18 players U11 thru U19. In addition U15 thru U19 premier and select teams are welcome. No player may play with more than one team during the tournament. All teams entered must have proper medical and liability insurance. Teams from out of state must provide an approved permission to travel form from their state association.

Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games leading to semi-finals and/or finals on Sunday afternoon. Team and individual awards will be presented to the champion and finalist in each bracket. Also, in memory of Eric and Kristen, the Philadelphia Soccer Club Board of Directors will present a "Most Spirited Award" to a performer in the championship round of the boys U8 and girls U14 age groups.

Registration fee for the tournament is $395.00 for U8 thru U10 age groups, $495.00 for the U11 thru U14 age groups and $595.00 for the U15 thru U19 age groups. Schedules will be placed on the web site approximately 2 weeks prior to the tournament. If you have any questions or would like more information feel free to contact me.
