Be organized, interested and excited
Stretching Exercise and Dribbling - everyone with a ball
Have everyone dribble around in the circle. They can dribble anywhere in the circle, in any direction.
After 15 to 30 seconds, tell them to stop and stretch a part of their body, (arm over the head, left the ball over the head, touch the toes, side stretch, sit and touch the toes, push up and stand on the toes, etc)
Practice Drill - Indoor Dribbling Drill, Indoor Passing Drill, Indoor Dribble Passing Drill, Indoor Drill
Setup
Split the team into groups of 3 with 1 ball per group. Since this is an indoor soccer drill, we will be using the walls. To set up the field, set one cone a yard or two from one of the side walls and set another cone just past midway towards the opposite wall. All of the players in the group should start at the cone closest to the wall.
Instructions
Have the first player in the line dribble across the field towards the opposite side of the field. When the player reaches the cone they should play the ball off the wall. They should then collect the rebound from the wall and dribble back across the field to the starting line. Once the player gets 5 yards from the front of the line the working player should pass to the next person in line who repeats this pattern.
Coaching Points
Since this is an indoor drill, focus on good dribbling and passing during this drill.
